Denise Parker -
Administrator |
|
Denise,
although not a native Texan, has called North Houston home for
the last ten years. She was born and raised outside of
Philadelphia, PA where she received her undergraduate degree
from West Chester University. She then went on to New York City
for her master’s degree in health care administration form The
New School for Social Research, Graduate School of Urban
Management and Policy. It was then off to Houston, Texas to
start her professional career in long term care as a nursing
home administrator and then later into assisted living.
Denise is no stranger to long term care. She started working in
long term care facilities at the age of 15. She has done
everything from laundry to being an administrator and just about
everything in between. Denise has had a passion for working with
the elderly and believes she can be their voice when they have
no voice.
Denise enjoys exercising, running, and fostering homeless dogs
and cats until they find a loving, permanent home.

Billie joined Silverado Senior Living – Cypresswood in late
2004 as the Family Ambassador. She moved to Texas from
Mississippi in 1963. She worked as a graphic artist for many
years before discovering the joys of working with the elderly.
She became an Activity Director with Tomball Nursing Center in
1996. She then went on to their Corporate Office as the
Marketing Director for all Century Care, Inc. facilities.
Billie has expressed many times that working with geriatric
