The
average age of diagnosis is 60. However, 10 - 20% of persons
with PD develop it before the age of 50. About half of these
are diagnosed before the age of 40.

1957 and is now a world class institution. It began as an
institution which provided therapies. In 1981, the Foundation
increased its building space from 12,500 sq.ft. to 50,000
sq.ft.
